American Red Cross Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider blended learning skill session
Service Description
The 2021 Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides healthcare providers and public safety professionals the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adult child and infant patients. This class is taught in a blended learning format, and the online portion (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the instructor-led skills session.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and rescheduling requests are allowed up to 48 hours prior to the start date of the class. The class cannot be canceled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the start date. Students arriving 5 minutes past the class start time will be asked to reschedule and pay the full registration fee. Blended Learning Classes: The online training must be completed prior to the skill session. Students who do not complete the online training will be asked to reschedule and pay the full registration fee. Instructor Classes: Cancellations and rescheduling requests are allowed up to one week prior to the start date of the class. The class cannot be canceled or rescheduled within one week of the start date. Students arriving 5 minutes past the class start time will be asked to reschedule and pay the full registration fee. In the event that Health and Safety Services cancels a class, a full refund will be issued.
